Well, I think it's apparent we don't have any alliances! We voted for TJ in the first round because we didn't have much to go on and we thought his profile was the most straight-forward, while others tried to do something a little different. The second round we voted for Little Elephant based solely on the fact that she wasn't able to post anything for the participation challenge.

We would love the game to be completely merit-based, but understand you can't take the alliances out of the people even if you take people out of alliances.

I voted for Little Elephant in both rounds because first time they were late and second time they were REALLY late. That's pretty much it. I like most of the rest of what's going on, save the two alliance suggestions I have received. Now, mind you - I, like Stadler, believes in the freedom that comes from this anti-strategy. I too vow to vote off anyone who sucks. But since the only sucky thing thusfar has been non-participation, I will have to totally scrutinize every last detail next time around......The Teej

Well, add it up. Three disclosures, two eliminations, leaving three in an alliance — G-RAD, Existential Media, and Body City. Now, did you all agree to vote against Oh Don Piano in round #2, or was that just a coincidence? Your silence is disturbing.

Wow, what is with the whiney and earnest recent developments, bloggers? What gives?

You entered a contest. I've seen past seasons, I've heard Mikey and Steve hype their brainchild - this is a strategic competition not a solidarity building exercise. They're looking for the ultimate blogger on the internet, not the ultimate cry baby on the comment page. I'd venture to speak for many other UB3 viewers when I say, we're looking for cut throat creativity, not this politeness police.

Besides the fact that alliances are part of the game, it's really unbecoming to start announcing your votes in public and giving us some sincere explanations of why. Matthew, if your posts have sucked so much, maybe you should keep voting yourself off. And Oh Don, you know what they say about the kitchen if you can't take the proverbial heat.

I apologize for the sincerity of my comments. I also feel that my first post sucked but my second one was better. Thank you for reading.

After much thought, I have decided to break the silence. Pay close attention and you may decode my hidden message, which reveals the location of The Secret Alliance headquarters.
